Ok, as many have realized, there have not been many major updates recently.
However, this morning, early morning at 2am, there was an unannounced maintenance!
Here’s what is added/changed:
1. Game Zone & GP added.
2. Daily auto-backup mechanism added.
3. User Rank Permission/Setup audited.
4. Sub-domain added, Forum can be now accessed through http://forum.pinkyorange.net
1. Game Zone & GP
I’ve already sent a PM to current members notifying them of the Game Zone & GP.
Here’s the PM with details:
We’ve introduced a new plugin!
The Game Zone!
Currently the Game Zone plugin is still in its original language and have not been translated yet.
It will be translated soon, however, the games in the Game Zone are mostly in English, so its ok, only the game directory related stuffs are in Chinese.
You can access the Game Zone from the Top Navigation Menu (Where you click Login/Logout, PM, Member List…etc), its in the Plugin dropdown list.
Next, the GP (Game Point), its a new value introduced to the community.
We’ve given all current members with 200 GP, and for new registered members, they get 100 GP.
GP is used to play games in the Game Zone, and you earn GP by playing the games in the Game Zone.
Currently, posting or replying DOES NOT give GP.
There’s Game Score to GP rate shown for each game, eg. “178 Pts = 1 GP”.
Thats the use of GP for now, and we’ll add more to it later.
There are currently 244 games in our Game Zone, they are all Flash games, so you should have Flash player installed in order to play them.
!!!!!!! NOTE !!!!!!!
After the game ends, Score will be sent back to the server, and Score will be converted to GP.
So, Please do leave the score screen or the flash game on for about 5~15 seconds, before playing the game again or close the page, to prevent scores not being recorded.
!!!!!!! NOTE !!!!!!!
Thats all for now =)

Next scheduled update: 8th June 2007 01:00am
Styles and Layouts will be updated, i believe most who used the drop-down menu to change the forum styles have realized, some of the buttons are not done, and some will not look right on other browsers, some will display chinese…etc
The next scheduled update will fix those, and hopefully fix them completely and for all the current styles.
